Guidelines for applying for grants from the Thunderbird Community Sports Foundation

Youth and amateur sports associations, schools, teams and individuals.

Complete and submit applications online, or please mail a completed original grant proposal form plus two copies to the address below.

Thunderbird Community Sports Foundation 625 W. James St. Kent, WA, 98032 OR, submit online. |
| When are the deadlines? |
September 1, 2011 and March 1, 2012, with funds to be distributed as required by the project.

| What is the grant size? |
Between $250.00 and $5,000.00, however, the Thunderbird Community Sports Foundation reserves the right to establish any grant amount it sees fit, regardless of the amount applied for.

Each grant will be judged against specific criteria. The committee will review the extent to which the proposed project is consistent with the goals of the Thunderbird Community Sports Foundation and shows potential for individual or group growth in their sport.
FOUNDATION MISSION:
The Thunderbird Community Sports Foundation promotes good health, physical education, and academic achievement by providing scholarships and grants for amateur athletes in the Puget Sound Region to participate in athletic competitions in team and individual sports, as well as providing grants to local youth and amateur sports associations for equipment and facilities for use in our community.
GOALS OF FOUNDATION:
Encourage opportunity and advancement in sports development
Foster growth of youth sports participation in the community
Promote community involvement among youth
